A close cooperation with the Hoek Design office gives Hoek Brokerage a prime position in the international yacht sales and charter market.

The team has a rich experience in the design and building process and has sailed most yachts built to a Hoek Design.
Moreover, an intimate knowledge of other yachts built at the many yards known to Hoek Design and Hoek Brokerage is offered.

 
Pieter A. van der Weide,  Managing director

Pieter van der Weide has been at the helm of Hoek Brokerage since early 2008. His records show an impressive number of achievements, such as:

Selling a sizeable number of yachts ranging from the 36ft daysailer Josephine II to the 144ft J-Class Lionheart.
Offering the charter availabilties to a vast and increasing number of happy guests and owners.

Supervising various refits of yachts sold by Hoek Brokerage. Pieter’s experience encompasses technical, commercial, legal and managerial expertise and he has a rich boat building background, having previously set up and owned a company in the Netherlands that built steel, sail and motor yachts up to 60ft. Emigrating to New Zealand in 1983, he set up another yacht building company and continued building steel and aluminium motor and sailing yachts ranging from 70 ft up to 120ft.
