ANNE – 175′- 2009
ANNE, formerly known as Erica XII, stands as a testament to bespoke craftsmanship and maritime excellence. Commissioned by an experienced owner, this majestic vessel was crafted as the culmination of eleven previous custom sailing yacht projects. Built at the renowned Vitters shipyard in the Netherlands, *Anne* embodies a blend of pedigree construction and cutting-edge design.
The yacht’s exterior and naval architecture were meticulously overseen by Hoek Design. ANNE features a sloop-rigged configuration, with in-boom furling and carbon spars supplied by Southern Spars, complemented by new North 3di head-sails in ’24. *Anne* is optimized for push-button sailing with Rondal captive winches and Reckman headsail furling systems, ensuring optimal performance with minimal crew.
Constructed from lightweight and durable materials, ANNE boasts an aluminum hull by Gouwerok in the Netherlands using Sealium, enhancing stability and performance. With a draft of 4.60 meters and a fixed keel combined with an aluminum rudder and fixed skeg, the yacht strikes a balance between agility and seaworthiness.
Inspired by the success of the ketch Adele built in 2006, ANNE was tailored to offer enhanced performance and aesthetics with fewer sails and rigging, ideal for streamlined operations with a smaller crew.
Internally, ANNE offers a luxurious retreat with an interior styled by Redman Whitely Dixon of the UK. The Cuban Mahogany woodwork by De Ruyter Quality Interiors in the Netherlands adorns the living spaces, including a large owner’s cabin aft with a private deckhouse. The guest accommodations consist of four cabins situated forward of the Master suite, ensuring privacy and comfort to both the owners and their 8 guests maximum.
With her 15 year ABS class compliance in 2023/24 and recent updates including new teak decks and refurbished varnish, the yacht has undergone meticulous maintenance and is in impeccable condition, supported by recent surveys.
In summary, ANNE exemplifies the pinnacle of custom yacht construction, blending timeless design with modern amenities to offer an unparalleled sailing experience on the open seas.
